As Plant Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our Penrose ready-mix plant. You will ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the high standards our customers expect, while building a strong team culture and driving continuous improvement.

You will ideally bring 5+ years' experience leading teams and managing ready-mix concrete operations, along with the drive to improve production efficiency, plant performance and fleet utilisation across the wider Auckland operation.

• A strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards
• Experience improving plant performance and asset utilisation
• Commercial awareness, with strong customer service, quality and sales focus
• Confidence working with operational and financial budgets
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to meet the needs of a fast-paced operational environment

In this role, you will

• Lead, coach and develop a diverse operational team
• Oversee the overall operational performance of the Penrose plant
• Manage the batching, production and delivery of ready-mix concrete
• Build strong client relationships alongside our Sales team
• Coordinate plant maintenance to support safe, reliable performance
• Manage stock levels to keep operations running smoothly
