SouthDrill is growing, and we need an offsider to join our Central Otago crew. Whether you've already done time on a rig or you think a drill bit is something from the hardware store, if you've got the right attitude, we want to hear from you.

Never worked on a rig?
Good news: we don't care. We'd rather have someone keen and reliable than someone who's seen it all and does nothing. If you like being outdoors, don't mind getting your hands dirty, and can turn up on time with a smile (or at least a coffee), we'll teach you the rest.

Leaving school? Sick of staring at a screen? Tired of your boss asking about "synergy"? This one's for you.

Already know your way around a rig?
Even better. We'll pay you for what you bring, and we'll help you move to one of the best spots in the country to do it.

Who are we?

SouthDrill are Certified Drillers with the New Zealand Drillers Federation and are trusted by ECan, Environment Southland and ORC. We drill irrigation, commercial, domestic and rural water bores, plus construction piling and geotechnical work all over the South Island.

We're proud of the quality of our work, but we're even prouder of the team. We work hard, look out for each other, and have a laugh along the way.

What do you need?

• Full Class 1 licence (minimum)
• Reliability (turning up matters more than you'd think)
• A good attitude and a good sense of humour
• No fear of hard work, mud or the odd early start
• Drilling experience is a bonus, but definitely not essential
