The Opportunity
Allied Concrete is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager to drive growth across the Northern Region, strengthening relationships with existing clients while actively developing new commercial opportunities.
This is a true end-to-end sales role. You will identify and win new opportunities, develop strong relationships with contractors and commercial partners, and ensure projects run smoothly from the first conversation through to delivery.
Approximately 80% of your focus will be on new business development, identifying opportunities across the commercial and contracting sectors, while 20% will involve maintaining and growing key client relationships.
Working closely with branch teams, dispatch, and operations, you will ensure projects are delivered on time and to the high standards Allied Concrete is known for.
You will also contribute to regional strategy, pricing discussions, and market development, helping to grow Allied's presence and protect its market share in a competitive construction environment.
What We're Looking For
You are a true sales professional, someone who thrives on winning work and building lasting client relationships. To succeed in this role, you will likely bring:
- Proven commercial sales experience in construction, building materials, civil infrastructure, or a similar technical industry
- Strong business development capability with a track record of generating new opportunities and converting them into revenue
- A solid understanding of how construction projects operate and the commercial drivers behind them
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail, strong numerical capability, and the ability to manage quotes and pricing confidently
- A resilient, proactive mindset, someone who leaves no stone unturned in pursuit of opportunity
