Farmers Transport Limited has an opportunity for a qualified diesel mechanic to join the team in Hastings.

Since 2015 an asset renewal programme has seen a number of new vehicles hit the road, with more due in the first part of 2018. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of makes from Volvos to DAF, Kenworth to Nissan and everything in between.

Whilst based in Hastings this role will also be required to service our Central and Southern Hawkes Bay vehicles in Waipawa. It is expected that this would take place on a Saturday. With the successful applicants' working week being Tuesday to Saturday or another configuration as agreed.

Applicants must be trade certified. The ability to self-manage but also take instruction and work as part of a team is essential. Experience in a commercial workshop would be an advantage.

A competitive hourly rate will be offered along with a service vehicle.
