SouthRoads are looking for a new team member to join our Southland State Highway Maintenance crew. We are currently looking for a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) to join our close-knit stabilising crew.

About the role:

You will play an integral part in our stabilising crew where you will be working as the STMS, ensuring Temporary Traffic Management sites are setup for safe worksites for our crew, road users and stakeholders.

About you:

Along with your approachable attitude, willingness to travel around the Southland Region and your ability to work in a team, there are a few essentials to what we are looking for but do not stress too much if you do not tick them all off, we are prepared to train you:

• Current STMS qualification and relevant traffic management experience.
• Strong understanding of temporary traffic management requirements and best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A proactive approach to health and safety.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and solve problems on site.
• Full New Zealand driver's licence.
