The Role

SouthRoads is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead and deliver projects across our Siteworks and Road Construction teams in Southland and Otago. You will oversee crews and contracts to ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. You'll plan and programme resources, manage client relationships, and ensure high standards of quality and performance are maintained.

Your day to day responsibilities are to

• Manage multiple construction projects from pricing through completion
• Lead and support teams, subcontractors, and foremen
• Liaise with clients and ensure satisfaction across all projects
• Monitor budgets, claims, and project progress
• Ensure compliance with SouthRoads safety, quality, and environmental systems
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive performance

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in civil or roading contract management
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills
