Based in either Invercargill, Dunedin, Cromwell or Oamaru.

SouthRoads is looking for an experienced Traffic Management Planner to join our team and make a real impact on how we keep New Zealand moving. As part of our team, you will:

• Develop risk-based Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and manage Corridor Access Applications (CAAs).
• Collaborate with contract teams to design and implement safe and effective temporary traffic management solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and processes, delivering high-quality outcomes every time.

What We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

• STMS Cat A & B Non-Practising experience (minimum requirement).
• TTMP Practising certification - not essential but highly regarded.
• Proficiency with Rapid Plan software.
• Strong knowledge of temporary traffic management requirements and the applicable regulations and submission processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to prioritizing health and safety.
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Experience using Submitica and My Worksites systems is an advantage.
