Customer Services Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a team player attitude to join us. The role is based in Christchurch.
As a Customer Services Officer you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing outstanding service and support. Your role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction and ensuring a positive experience for every customer..
The Role:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products and services to offer accurate information to customers.
- Document all customer interactions and maintain detailed records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate channels.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
- Continuously seek ways to improve customer service processes and practices.
You will have:
- Proven experience in a customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to multitask, priortise and manage time effectively.
- A Class 1 Drivers License
- The ability to work legally which may include NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
- Intermediate level computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
