About the Role

If you are pondering your next career move you will want to consider this exciting opportunity as a Fuel Scheduler Cadet with Allied Petroleum in Whangarei, Auckland, or Christchurch. The purpose of this entry level position is to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to perform fuel scheduling activities to our customer base. You will assist our scheduling team by:

  • maximising all deliveries, plan, schedule and utilise fleet and staff availability to efficiently meet customer demand
  • developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, team members and drivers
  • providing and maintaining reporting (internal and external) to facilitate accurate and timely delivery management KPI's

About You

You will have achieved Level 2 NCEA. No scheduling experience is required as full training will be provided with opportunities to gain qualifications in desired fields. You will be keen to learn and develop skills, technically savvy and able to pick up systems and processes. Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills are essential. You must also have a great sense of humour, be comfortable with a fast paced and changing environment and be a team player. Ability to work legally within NZ and have a class 1 Drivers licence is also essential. In addition, you will enjoy being part of a busy team, be punctual and reliable and be flexible in your working hours.
