HWR are on the lookout for an Administrator to join the Transport team.

The HWR Group is a thriving family-owned business proudly based in Southland with a family of brands operating across industries including Ready Mixed Concrete, Contracting, Waste Services, Fuel distribution, Quarrying and Transport sectors. Our Business Services are situated in a vibrant new building situated in the Invercargill CBD.

Right now, we are looking for an Administrator to join us and be the backbone that supports our Transport team, based in Invercargill. This role is designed to ensure the efficient and accurate handling of all administration processes for our customers and internal teams. This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

If you have a background in administration and accounts experience and feel that it is time to get stuck into a new challenge, this is the opportunity for you.

Use your skills across a range of areas including:

  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Banking
  • Payroll entry
  • End of month processes and reporting
  • Responding to internal and external email and phone queries in a professional and timely manner
  • General office admin duties, including filing, data entry and reception cover

You will have:

  • At least 2+ years proven accounts experience
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • A Class 1 Drivers License
  • The ability to work legally which may include NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
  • Intermediate level computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal written and oral skills
  • Great sense of humour and able to feel comfortable in a dynamic and changing environment
  • A team player attitude
