Reporting to the CEO, your role will be based in Invercargill but will travel around our family of brands across NZ and Australia to help shape, influence and embed the Groups strategic safety outcomes with an emphasis on our critical risks. You will develop and embed a Group framework and strategy and work hand in hand with the CEO and executive to ensure alignment of safety outcomes to ensure HWRs Great People Get Home Safe.
We are looking for an experienced, down to earth and innovative health safety and wellbeing leader who can authentically connect and build great relationships with the team and wider business. The ability to connect and influence is critical. People management experience and a sound practical knowledge of New Zealand health and safety legislation is essential. You must also have a great sense of humour, be comfortable with a fast paced and changing environment and be a team player. Ability to work legally within NZ and have a class 1 Drivers licence is also essential.
