Allied Concrete is a leading national supplier of concrete and part of the HW Richardson Group of Companies. Allied Concrete specialises in the production of ready mix concrete nation wide.
The role reports directly to the Waikato Regional Manager. As this is a smaller operation, this role is hands on requiring Batching, Testing and Dispatching to get the concrete out the gate.
There is a great deal of diversity in the region due to the mix of residential, commercial, as well as a significant rural factor.
The challenge is to ensure the success of the plant through consistent quality and efficiencies in both production and fleet management. Success in the role will require market intelligence, tactical sales solutions, customer relationships and commercial project management.
The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a team and efficiently managing a concrete plant. Critical to the success of the role will be the ability and desire of the Manger to engage with customers, industry, and the community.

Ideally you will have had previous planning, financial and staff management experience as well as operation experience in plant management and business development.
