This role reports to the General Manager - Risk and is an integral member of the national Safety Advisor team dedicated to ensuring each company within HWR is coached and supported to reduce risk and is assisted in improving efficiency.
The specialist function of this Safety Advisor role is Systems and Projects relative to the following key accountability areas:
- Health, Safety & Injury Management - Policies & Practices
- Risk Management - Bowtie Methodology
- Culture Champion - Values & Behaviours
- Projects - Critical Risks & Systems
- Quality, Systems Support, Development & Advice
- Information Management, Document Control, Reporting & Analysis
- Relationship Management - Customers & Suppliers
The role requires a passionate person who sets high standards, is detailed, tech savvy and dedicated to ensure project and BAU outcomes. Interpersonal and communication strengths are important to achieve collaborative working relationships which enable free flow of information to monitor and influence progress.
You will be experienced in a related industry within the HWR Group of companies; transport, construction or engineering. A range of roles may have provided exposure to risk safety systems and management, project, IT and systems support, business analysis in a best practice and continuous improvement environment.
