SouthRoads is looking for an experienced Earthworks Foreman to join our high-performing team.

We're after someone who can jump into a 30-50 tonne excavator, lead a crew of 4-5 people, and keep projects moving safely, productively, and on schedule.

This isn't a clipboard-and-coffee role. We want a hands-on leader who isn't afraid to get amongst it, set the standard, and lead by example.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and coordinate an experienced earthworks crew
• Operate 30-50 tonne excavators and heavy plant
• Run safe, productive, and organised worksites
• Plan daily activities and manage project timeframes
• Drive productivity while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Ensure compliance with quarry and industry regulations

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in earthworks and civil construction
• Experience leading and managing staff
• Class 2, 3 or 4 licence
• WTR endorsement preferred (or we'll help you get it)
• 5+ years' operating heavy vehicles and machinery
• Strong focus on safety, productivity, and quality
• A practical, can-do attitude
