Allied Petroleum specialises in delivering fuel and lubricants to our customers across New Zealand. We pride ourselves on working safely and with the utmost professionalism.

We are seeking a professional Class 5 driver to join our team in Christchurch on a rotating shift roster.

You must have a minimum of 2 years Class 5 experience and take pride in personal presentation and your equipment. As we work in a safety-sensitive role, you will need to ensure that you're vigilant in following our standard operating procedures as well as adhering to our safety rules and policies.

The successful applicant would be required to undertake the following tasks on a day-to-day basis:

  • Maintain communication with Fleet Operations
  • Understand and follow APL SAFED defensive driving principles always;
  • Ensure trucks and tankers are kept clean and tidy to set standards;
  • Ensure vehicles driven carry all documentation required by law;
  • Follow set procedures for pre-shift checks, loading, driving, and unloading
  • Be able to self-manage set delivery runs

We require our drivers to be customer focused to ensure our customers always have fuel. Full fuel industry training will be provided to the successful applicant, but previous fuel experience will be an advantage.
